We are currently seeking a Sales Development Representative who will be responsible for qualifying incoming leads as well as identifying and prospecting new leads for our account management team. This is a very significant and important role as it is often the first exposure a prospective customer has of Vidyo. This position is based in the Hackensack, NJ - Vidyo’s corporate offices.

What You’ll Do:

  • Learn and expand your understanding of Vidyo’s product platform and architecture
  • Articulate Vidyo’s overall business objectives and value proposition to leads and prospects
  • Source, develop, and qualify a pipeline of new prospects
  • Manage and maintain proper handling of incoming leads
  • Manage time effectively to prospect, follow up with and grow existing leads, and manage administrative responsibilities in accordance with the tasks
  • Work with your manager to deploy thoughtful and targeted prospecting campaigns to increase new, viable leads to provide to the account management team in the form of opportunities
  • Provide exceptional qualifying skills with a focus on details and the needs of the customer
  • Weekly lead forecasting and pipeline management
  • Coordinate with creative, production and management staff on ad materials and marketing initiatives
  • Some travel required to attend trade shows and conferences

This position has many elements of success. Metrics include but are not limited to:

  • Number of created opportunities
  • Dollar amount of pipeline
  • Dollar amount of closed business


  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree
  • You have knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • CRM experience preferred, but not required
  • You have some digital/website experience desired
  • You have the ability to make 60 plus quality prospecting phone calls per day
  • You are persuasive with the ability to overcome objections
  • You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You are self-motivated
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • You work effectively and creatively within a team environment as well as independently
