The Managed Services Activations team is seeking a motivated Implementation Manager(MSIM)/Project Manager(MSPM) that can work with a number of teams to successfully implement a customer’s network. The MSIM/MSPM needs to work effectively and efficiently to deliver service to the customer with minimal delay.
The Managed Services Implementation Manager is responsible for executing the domestic and international implementation schedule for Managed Services activations. Duties include processing Managed Service Orders, tracking equipment and site milestones, and coordinating dispatches for the installation of customer premise equipment with Verizon field operations and third party vendors. The Implementation Manager is responsible for data integrity and order status updates. Work assignments are made on a customer and project basis allowing the MSIM/MSPM to focus on customer needs while supporting Project Managers and Order Managers.
Responsibilities include:
Review and validate the scope of managed projects
Track, monitor and help drive Customer deliverables related to a managed order.
Collaborate with Sales, Solution Architects and Ordering Teams to help facilitate the creation of orders related to a managed project.
Ensure that appropriate resources are assigned to a project and the orders.
Run internal and external (customer facing) calls
Document timeline, implementation path, priority sites, and special instructions
Monitor orders for equipment and circuit delivery
Track project milestones and update order status
Provide weekly project status (communication & client management)
Schedule implementations with the Customer and necessary internal resources
Monitor sites for management acceptance and facilitate issue resolution
Review of lessons learned and create action plans
Ensure Order Closure and Billing

You’ll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
Three or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience in Project coordination
General knowledge of Telecommunications
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Five years of experience with service providers
Strong attention to detail
