    What you’ll be doing…

    The 5G Acceleration team is a mission-focused organization, working across the company to create, build, and deliver Private and Neutral Host Networks that will propel customer transformations. For this role, you'll provide direct support to the senior leaders of the 5GA sales organization, interacting daily with various functions to ensure that organizational initiatives, actions, and resources are aligned to achieve business unit objectives. You’ll work across all aspects of the business to understand what is required to achieve results, track progress of initiatives and actions, provide executive-level communications support, and find innovative solutions to overcome challenges.

    You are great at transforming complex ideas into compelling infographics and presentations up to the executive level. You will also need project management and organizational skills to help identify, prioritize, structure, and lead multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. You may not know all the answers, but you have a proven track record of working through difficult challenges by independently researching potential directions, collaborating with others, and iterating to find solutions. You are an unstoppable force while working through challenges, establishing and improving the organization as you go.

    Examples of what you will support in this role include:

    • Translating executive direction into clear messaging and communications delivered through slides, email, and other written and graphic formats.

    • Managing executive slide development, including building from scratch, adapting existing formats, clarifying requirements, incorporating updates, and providing feedback.

    • Thoughtfully proposing and assisting with developing agendas, outlines, and slides to communicate key messaging to internal and external audiences.

    • Managing the production of executive communication deliverables that require collaboration and input from multiple business units and leadership teams.

    • Organizing monthly all-hands calls, including developing agendas, securing speakers, and preparing speakers and creating content.

    • Creating and delivering weekly reports on progress, status, and activity related to key initiatives.

    • Assisting with coordinating executive calendars related to availability for key internal and external events and assisting with the development and execution of culture and employee development initiatives.

    • Managing and completing ad-hoc projects and reports that require coordination across teams and influencing teams to meet due dates, while building positive relationships.

    • Building critical collaborative working relationships with non-reporting teams of all levels to achieve goals.

    • Recognizing time-sensitive turnaround times for executive materials and requests, and adapting quickly to changing priorities.

    In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

    What we’re looking for…

    You’ll need to have:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

    • Two or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

    • Senior executive staff support experience with demonstrable expertise in executive deck creation, delivery, and meeting planning logistics.

    • Project management experience, including experience with cross-functional and/or cross-area projects.

    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

    • Excellent quantitative, problem-solving, technical and analytical skills.

    • Demonstrated ability to be flexible and work in a high-energy, dynamic, and sometimes unstructured environment.

    • Ability to effectively relay complex information to others in any level of the business remotely and in person.

    • Experience influencing teams to meet deadlines while building positive relationships.

    • Ability to understand and navigate the organizational landscape.

    • Strong knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Applications, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, or other document preparation/project management tools.

    • Ability to create highly professional and informative presentations within Verizon brand guidelines.

    • Knowledge of G Suite and Google Drive applications, including Gmail, Google Sheets, and Google Slides.

    Even better if you have:

    • Ability to work, creatively and collaboratively, under ambiguous conditions.

    • Ability to influence without authority and experience working in a large company.

    • Ability to succinctly and persuasively communicate via slides.

    • The ability to deliver concise storyline and strategy updates for key senior updates and operational reviews

    • 2+ years of wireline/wireless industry experience.

    • Master’s degree in a relevant field or MBA.

    • In-depth knowledge of Verizon products and services, functions, policies, and procedures.

    • The ability to provide simplified data visualization or illustrations of operational data, technical solutions, and complicated business processes

    • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik, and MSPower BI.

    • Experience with MS Office and Adobe suite applications for presentation creation.

    • Financial experience or knowledge, including revenue reporting, capital planning, budgeting, or expense allocation.

    • Database creation and implementation experience.

    Where you’ll be working

    In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.

    The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
