    What you’ll be doing...

    This role is within the Value Digital/Customer Experience team where we create and improve digitally-led experiences for our customers, striving for reliable, simple, exceptional world-class journeys.

    We are seeking a Senior Experience Designer to join our Shopping team where we are iteratively designing and developing best in class experiences for our customers. Join us to help set new standards in our category and make our customer shopping a truly reliable, simple and exceptional experience.

    As a Senior Experience Designer, you will create delightful complex designs to deliver great shopping experiences. The Senior Experience Designer will create and enhance the buying experience, inspired by our design vision and accountable for quality solutions across the whole shopping journey.

    • Generating multiple credible design solutions based on analysis.

    • Exhibiting mastery of shared tools and software for design.

    • Identifying appropriate design problems and opportunities within a brief and recommend solutions.

    • Participating in divergent and convergent group work.

    • Working independently with some guidance to solve larger, more open-ended problems.

    • Exploring, refining, and documenting solutions thoroughly.

    • Objectively evaluating and refining concepts based on learnings from prototypes.

    • Updating user personas for brands.

    • Updating and researching UI elements available for the brand.

    • Supporting testing related to design specifications.

    • Consulting with Learning and Development on content creation.

    • Reviewing and providing feedback on basic designs, wireframes, and prototypes.

    • Creating medium-complex flowcharts and logic flows.

    • Supporting design team.

    This role may be considered as part of the Department of Defense SkillBridge Program.

    In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

    What we’re looking for...

    You have a great eye for design but also know that it’s not just about looks. Your designs are grounded in what the user wants and needs. What you build is new but somehow reflects exactly how people prefer to navigate. You understand and balance both the user and the business perspective. Understanding and meeting the needs of partners is your greatest strength, while also maintaining your own vision and point of view. You believe that different perspectives create the best solutions and new groundbreaking designs.

    You'll need to have:

    • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

    • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

    • Willingness to travel approximately up to 25%.

    • Knowledge of high fidelity prototyping and testing experiences

    • Experience with user centric design overall.

    • Experience designing technical and/or business web applications.

    • Experience with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD and/or related tools.

    • A portfolio of UX design work from pencil and whiteboard, to wireframes and prototypes (blog, Dribbble, Github, etc.).

    Even better if you have one or more of the following:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design or related field of study.

    • Portfolio of largely professional work.

    • Contributed to one or more design programs or shipped products.

    • Ability to digest and translate complex technical requirements into intuitive experiences.

    • Portfolio examples of enterprise applications and shopping journey

    • samples.

    • Experience with JIRA.

    • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud.

    • Experience with Smart Sheets and/or Google Suite.

    If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island or Washington work location, the compensation range for this position is between $107,000.00 and $198,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
