What you’ll be doing...
You'll be responsible for the strategy, planning and negotiation of Verizon Business Group’s promotional roadmap. You will be primarily tasked with managing the relationship with multiple device manufacturers and creating promotional offers to care for business customer needs. You will partner hand-in-hand with Finance, Sourcing, IT, Sales Operations, channel leads, and front-line representatives to improve our processes and bring to market valuable promotions.
OEM Promotional Strategy – Analyze and recommend promotional offers to help grow the Verizon Business base and increase profitability of the Business segment.
Work with the device manufacturer leaders to create offers and help forecast the financial impacts and incremental sales that the offers will have while working with finance.
Work back with internal and external stakeholders, front-line representatives, promotion and operational teams to obtain feedback, discover new promotion requests, and align on strategy.
Partner with Sourcing, Pricing and Device Marketing teams on annual, quarterly, and ad hoc contract negotiations.
Represent Device Marketing on GTM and IM calls to answer questions from the business and address concerns as needed.
Ensure that promotional offers are tracked including results, costs, and run rates and manage a weekly cadence with HQ and Market leadership.
Develop new opportunities for future promotional concepts by scoping out requirements and aligning with the business on the cost to build and priority in the development funnel.
What we’re looking for...
You have a passion for marketing and relationship building. You are a self-starter and not afraid of a challenge, and will work to find solutions to difficult problems. You have a proven track record of collaboration, and embrace the opportunity to take ownership over your work.
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
Promotions or product experience and an understanding of trends and key business drivers.
Relationship management experience.
Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
MBA or Masters degree.
Experience using ThoughtSpot data analytic tools.
Experience working autonomously in a fast paced environment.
Experience forecasting and reporting financials.
Experience outlining issues/challenges, while offering viable solutions and recommendations.
Problem solving and organization skills.
Experience presenting findings and insights to VP level executives.
Experience analyzing what’s important from a variety of sources to provide a holistic view of the marketplace, competitive factors, risks, and opportunities.
Experience juggling multiple priorities to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $136,500.00 and $238,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
