    The 5G Acceleration team is a mission-focused organization, working across the company to create, build, and deliver Private and Neutral Host Networks that will propel customer transformations. Our indirect business is growing rapidly so we are looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Sales Ops & Enablement to be responsible for the overall governance and operations of this increasingly important sales channel.

    You are a seasoned professional, renowned for your ability to manage complex indirect sales activities including tracking orders, billing and general support, and proactively identifying strategic opportunities for improvement and growth. You have a deep understanding of channel enablement and a proven track record of delivering in a high-impact, dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment where you can build enduring strategic relationships, drive significant sales growth through innovative programs, and influence outcomes across senior-level teams.

    What you’ll be doing:

    • Leading pipeline planning efforts and identifying and tracking high-value opportunities

    • Managing the forecasting, revenue recognition, compensation and billing processes for the channel in collaboration with other internal teams including Finance and Business Markets

    • Managing the production of executive communication deliverables, for both internal and external audiences, that require collaboration and input from multiple business units and leadership teams.

    • Evaluating executive direction and action items for prioritization, ownership, and follow-up.

    • Creating and delivering weekly reports on progress, status, and activity related to key initiatives.

    • Developing and implementing a regular process for senior leader employee interactions, including monthly all team calls, town halls, roundtables and 1:1’s including developing agendas, securing, and preparing speakers and creating content.

    What we’re looking for…

    You’ll need to have:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

    • Six or more years of progressively responsible experience in channel management, strategic sales, or senior program management within a complex organization.

    • Experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing complex go-to-market strategies for channel partners.

    • Proven ability to lead and evolve multi-faceted indirect selling relationships.

    • Project management experience, including experience with cross-functional and/or cross-area projects.

    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

    • Excellent quantitative, problem-solving, technical and analytical skills.

    • Demonstrated ability to be flexible and work in a high-energy, dynamic, and sometimes unstructured environment.

    • Ability to effectively relay complex information to others in any level of the business remotely and in person.

    • Experience influencing teams to meet deadlines, while building positive relationships.

    • Ability to understand and navigate the organizational landscape.

    • Ability to work, creatively and collaboratively, under ambiguous conditions.

    • Strong knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Applications including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, or other document preparation/project management tools.

    • Ability to create highly professional and informative presentations within Verizon brand guidelines.

    • Knowledge of G Suite and Google Drive applications including Gmail, Google Sheets, and Google Slides.

    Even better if you have:

    • Master’s degree in a relevant field or MBA.

    • Expensive experience (2+ years) of wireline/wireless industry experience.

    • In-depth knowledge of Verizon products and services, functions, policies, and procedures.

    • The ability to provide simplified data visualization or illustrations of operational data, technical solutions, and complicated business processes for executive audiences.

    • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik, MSPower BI.

    • Experience with MS Office and Adobe suite applications for sophisticated presentation creation.

    • Strong financial acumen, including experience with revenue reporting, compensation, capital planning, budgeting, or expense allocation.

    • Experience with large-scale database creation and implementation experience, or data analysis for strategic insights

    Where you’ll be working

    In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.

    The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.

    The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $104,500.00 - $200,000.00.

    The annual salary range for the Colorado location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $115,000.00 - $200,000.00.

    The annual salary range for the Illinois location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $115,000.00 - $200,000.00.
