What you’ll be doing...
As the Senior Manager of Base Personalization, you will be a pivotal link between GTS, marketing, and the channel technology teams. Your primary objective will be to drive the successful implementation of marketing personalization enhancements within our channel technology tools, directly contributing to churn reduction. This dynamic role demands a deep understanding of business strategy. This position is an integral part of the Base Marketing & Marketing Communications group within Verizon Consumer Group.
Responsibilities include:
Optimizing the Next Best Offer/Action (NBX) engine to arbitrate marketing actions across various channel tools: POS (Retail, Indirect, and Inside Sales), ACSS, MVO, and MVA.
Driving incremental revenue through add-a-line initiatives, plan and service step-ups, and perk and product adoption.
Protecting the existing customer base by reducing voluntary churn.
Collaborating within ACTs to develop marketing solutions, write user stories, gain alignment, define testing requirements, and communicate progress to marketing stakeholders.
Driving the technical roadmap across stakeholder groups including marketing, AI&D, GTS, CXO, and channel partners.

You can confidently lead or follow, and are comfortable voicing well-informed, dissenting opinions while always treating others and their views with respect.
You need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
Experience and working knowledge of Catalyst, JIRA and Verizon Agile process.
Experience working on projects impacting ACSS or POS (Retail, Indirect or Inside Sales).
Experience in testing, business analysis, and/or workflow development.
Experience managing multiple, competing projects while meeting objectives for timeliness and accuracy.
Even better if you have:
Proven track record of loyalty & growth marketing ideation and execution.
Clear communication skills and attention to detail.
Time in a large/complex organization, where developing strong interpersonal relationships and leading through influence are keys to success.
Detailed understanding of VZW systems and how they work together to deliver and provision offers.
Experience with the PegaSystems platform.
Strong self-initiative – the ability to deal with a high degree of ambiguity and drive clarity in critical areas while working in a fast-paced environment.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $136,500.00 - $238,000.00.
