    The Software Renewal Specialist role resides within our Sales Operations – Software & Licensing Operations (SCLO) team and interacts directly with Inside Sales, Procurement, WWT Account Managers, WWT Finance Teams, OEM Software Account Teams, and end‑user customers. This role is responsible for owning software renewal quoting and lifecycle management, including identifying renewal opportunities, quoting subscription and term‑based software renewals, managing co‑term and true‑up activities, and providing accurate reporting in support of customer engagement. The Software Renewal Specialist works closely with WWT and OEM software account teams to ensure software renewals are proactively quoted and presented to customers to drive on‑time renewal closures. They also partner with Inside Sales and Procurement to ensure renewal orders are accurately structured and processed within WWT systems. This role is critical to the overall success of achieving team, customer, and corporate revenue and retention goals. Detailed, timely communication and consistent execution of responsibilities are essential to success in this role.

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Build and maintain strong working relationships with WWT account teams, OEM software partners, and internal operations teams
    • Identify and quote OEM software subscription renewals, including SaaS, term‑based, and consumption‑based licensing
    • Support software true‑ups, co‑terming, and license alignment activities to ensure accurate renewal positions
    • Maintain expertise in software quoting and renewal processes, policies, and best practices
    • Maintain proficiency in OEM and WWT software licensing and renewal tools
    • Maintain strong organizational skills to manage customer software profiles, including deal IDs, entitlements, contract terms, renewal dates, licensing metrics, and end‑user details
    • Run and maintain software renewal and subscription reports to support customer and account team visibility
    • Proactively quote software renewals 90–120 days prior to expiration to support on‑time bookings and renewal metrics
    • Provide renewal status and pipeline updates to SCLO Program Specialists and management
    • Serve as a trusted resource for WWT account teams on software licensing models, renewal structures, policies, and tools -Identify process gaps and contribute new insights and continuous improvements to enhance SCLO team effectiveness and customer experience

    Qualifications:

    • B.A., Business, Finance or other related field or equivalent work experience
    • 1-3 years of technology vendor relationship development experience preferred
    • Demonstrated relatable business process experience preferred
    • Proficient PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel)
    • Ability to work independently and/or on a team with minimal supervision
    • A subject matter expert in technology partner processes a plus
    • Excellent communication skills

    Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $60,800 to $76,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.
