What you’ll achieve As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing innovative software and automation solutions to meet business objectives while improving employee and customer experience.

You will:

• Assess current business practices and drive innovation, standardization, automation
• Collaborate globally with process owners, end users, project team, and management on regular basis
• Provide resolution to an assortment of business problems of moderately complex and varied scope
• Serve as solution architect, evaluate technologies, provide recommendations to management
• Analyze requirements and build custom solutions from conception through deployment and support
• Manage and own the design, development, QA/testing, and maintenance of software and infrastructure
• Complete deliverables accurately and timely to instill quality in work and confidence in capabilities
• Advise on and ensure compliance with organizational policies and program governance
• Exercise judgment, creativity, initiative in redesigning processes and resolving problems
• Drive idea generation for new software products or for the next version of an existing product

Additional Responsibilities:

• Participates in analysis of software/storage requirements and specifications
• Participates in the creation of technical and/or user documentation, as needed
• Develops, tests and integrates code for new or existing software
• Provides sustaining or maintenance support to existing software/storage environment
• Follows source code revision control and clearly communicates project issues and status
• Provides constructive and responsive customer service to business partners
• Accurately logs project schedule, defects, and other data into the appropriate databases

• Entry level position requiring basic knowledge of programming languages, operating systems and databases
• Debugging skills for simple programs using either written or verbal design specifications
