Our software engineering team is responsible for the creation and delivery of great software products and solutions, as well as services offerings for and to this market. The team works closely with a world-class product management team in defining and road-mapping the offerings. What you’ll achieve

As a Software Engineer Intern, you will be a part of a team responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software, working with other technologists to build software solutions.

You will:

• Demonstrate your ability to design, code, test, and deliver Dell’s Bare Metal Automation product portfolio for our Telecom Systems Business as a key member of our agile team
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members both locally and globally to deliver the best software solutions to the Telecom market
• Grow your capabilities as an engineer through hands on learning along with mentoring by senior engineers
• Innovate by providing unique ideas and perspectives to team challenges

**Essential Requirements **

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience in at least one programming language – Golang experience a plus (Go/C++/Java/Python)
• Proven delivery of software systems or products – At scale and cloud experience a plus (Agile SDLC, Test Driven Development, etc.)
• Ability to code and debug programs using multiple technologies (Using tools like Kubernetes/Docker, MongoDB, gRPC and REST APIs)

Desired Requirements

• History of learning new tools, languages, technologies, or software systems through training and experience such as classes or hobby projects
• Studying Computer Science or Computer Engineering and passion for a career in software engineering

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this position is $41.69/hr-$58.19/hr depending on location.
