Dell’s Telecom Systems Business Unit creates products and solutions catering for the worldwide telecommunications market, which is exploding with new and exciting opportunities made possible by new developments such as 5G, Internet of Things (IoT), and virtualized radio access networks (RANs). The market consists of communication service providers, managed service providers, hosting companies, content delivery network companies, cloud service providers, and consumer/enterprise web-technology providers.

Our Software Systems Engineering team ensures that our customers have the software systems they need for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, we design and deliver software systems modifications as well as enhancements of new products. We oversee product development at all stages: planning, designing, developing and testing operating systems, compilers, routers, utilities, databases, embedded management and control devices, plus internet-related tools.

You Will:

• Build, validate and optimize telecom architectural solutions with cloud-native infrastructure
• Execute open telecom ecosystem interop testing based on O-RAN conformance specifications and end-to-end validation of O-RAN solutions
• Create documentation based upon reference architectures, white papers and other literature for customers
• Build and enhance the certification test plans for specific custom solutions, mapped to use-cases
• Develop, build and deploy tools for the solutioneers to optimize deployment at OTEL

Essential Requirements

• Familiar with automation and scripting with Python/Golang and Ansible
• Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps ecosystems
• Knowledge on automation frameworks like pyTest, ROBOT and like.
• Working knowledge on virtualization solutions like Kubernetes on platforms like VMware, OpenShift and Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Understanding of software development processes and aptitude to learn the DevOps models, continuous integration, continuous testing, agile development with Jira/Git/Bitbucket/Confluence or similar platforms

**Desirable Requirements **

• BS or higher in computer/software/electrical/telecommunications engineering or related fields
• Preferable understanding of testing and automation frameworks
