    What you’ll be doing...

    As a Senior Analyst-Supply Chain, you will be responsible for managing network equipment from retirement to disposal. Your focus will be on direct-to-retirement initiatives, ensuring that internal customers receive accurate equipment lists that meet financial criteria and have no internal reuse potential. You will oversee the flow and processing of returned equipment using various internal and external tools, databases, and communication channels. A key part of your role will be to maximize revenue and margin for Asset Recovery, while strictly adhering to corporate, environmental, legal, and regulatory compliance standards.

    You will be expected to identify and implement process improvements and best practices to enhance supply chain efficiency. Furthermore, you will build and maintain collaborative relationships, partnering with internal teams and customers through both verbal and written communication to advance strategic initiatives.

    • Processing, tracking, and reporting all RAN retirements by collaborating with asset owners, facilities, and corporate finance to ensure all SOX compliance requirements are met.

    • Resolving backlog retirement issues and addressing escalations or discrepancies.

    • Working with various distribution centers and field teams to ensure processes are followed and executed.

    • Identifying potential reuse opportunities for all decommissioned equipment to ensure maximum asset utilization prior to retiring.

    • Working with engineering and other equipment owners to ensure a full understanding of appropriate procedures relevant for the planned final disposition of the asset.

    • Identifying and implementing process improvements and best practices to drive efficiency across the supply chain.

    • Identifying operational inefficiencies, developing solutions, and addressing expedites and escalations.

    • Identifying opportunities to automate processes and partner with IT teams to execute.

    • Building collaborative relationships by providing partnership and communication with internal teams and customers to further strategic initiatives, both verbally and in writing.

    • Training, guiding and supporting downstream teams and others as needed.

    • Independently take on projects, driving them to completion, and keeping the team and leadership informed.

    You’ll need to have:

    • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

    • Three or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.

    • Experience SAP.

    • Inventory/Asset Management experience.

    • Experience in Excel, Word, G-Suite, and web-based tools.

    • A valid Driver’s license.

    • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

    Even better if you have one or more of the following:

    • A degree.

    • Knowledge of Webi reporting tools.

    • Background in accounting and inventory control principles.

    • Knowledge of wireless industry products and services.

    • Effective time management skills, ability to work independently, and make decisions within the guidelines of Verizon Wireless business standards.

    • Experience working in a team-based environment.

    • Advance knowledge of analytics tools like Tableau, Click and Smartsheet.

    Where you’ll be working

    In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with hybrid work policies.
