The Senior Analyst role requires extensive analytical, data product and business skills applied through the execution of data including development and creation of data models. Also responsible for data analysis, reporting, and technology implementations using industry leading principles, methodologies, and programs. Analytic activities are typically designed to be repeatable and serve many clients although there are occasions that may require a custom solution to solve a specific business problem. This role requires comfortability with generating analytics as well as explaining findings to various audiences.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Use predictive modeling and machine learning to improve and optimize client usage, adoption, and benefit of data.
• Utilize statistical techniques to perform predictions, analyze patterns, and uncover hidden stories told through data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and support development of analytic solutions based on company data products.
• Prepare analysis datasets by appending data, deduping, loading data to analysis application, and merging with other datasets.
• Research and implement new analytic techniques or methodologies as needed for specific projects or analyses.
• Leverage a variety of statistical analysis tools (SAS, R, Python) to facilitate analytic discovery.
• Communicate findings to internal and external business partners.

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE:

• Knowledge of predictive models, segmentation, and data mining techniques
• Knowledge of advanced predictive analytics (GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting Trees)
• Experience with a variety of programming languages (SAS, R, Python)
• Experience with automating tools and processes
• Ability to effectively communicate results and findings
• Comfort with handling multiple priorities at once and pivoting focus as necessary
• Intellectual and business curiosity
• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics) or related degree programs and 8-10 years of relevant work experience.
• Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics) or related degree programs and 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of various statistical software programming languages (SAS, R, Python).
• Experience with data mining and statistical/machine learning techniques.
• Ability to interpret business problems and identify optimal solutions.
• Proficiency in data manipulation and skills needed for utilizing appropriate analytic software.
• Attention to detail and time management to deliver high-quality, client-ready work for multiple projects across several client engagements while meeting deadlines.
