    WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING...

    Location(s): Basking Ridge, New Jersey

    You’ll be front and center, hands-on and contributing your creative energy, and the skills and experiences you’ve gained in your MBA program to high-impact projects from the moment you arrive through the course of this 10-week experience. You will take part in meaningful work and real-life projects in our Verizon Consumer organization that will help you grow both professionally and personally throughout the program. You'll learn from the best minds in the industry and improve your business strategy knowledge in an environment that’s dedicated to industry superiority.

    In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on the Verizon Consumer Strategy team, which is responsible for developing the overall strategic framework and identifying new business model alternatives and vectors of profitable revenue growth.

    In this role, you may have the opportunity to:

    • Identify new vectors of profitable revenue growth.
    • Identify new business model alternatives.
    • Market your skills at the executive level within a world-class technology company.
    • Present and have exposure to senior leadership.
    • Provide insights on customer and industry trends.

You possess superior analytical skills to solve complex problems. You are flexible, dependable and work well in varying environments. Learning quickly is personally rewarding and inspires you to take smart risks. You’ll need to have:

    • Current enrollment in an MBA program majoring in Strategy, Consulting, or a related field, with an expected completion date between December 2020 and June 2021.
    • Four or more years of work experience within Strategy, Customer Insights, Consulting, Telecom, or a related field.
    • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.

    Even better if you have:

    • Demonstrated independent thinking, relationship management and attention to detail.
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-moving, team environment.
    • Demonstrated strong analytical, communication, leadership and presentation skills.
    • High proficiency in MS Office Suite of Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
