Your Role and Responsibilities:

Do you have a passion for technology and a desire to develop and implement business strategies that helps grow the AI Application software business? IBM's AI Applications Strategy & Portfolio Planning

team focuses on the growth and success of our brand through product strategies, market analysis, competitor scans, and more. The team includes consultants, product experts, technologists, and strategists with experience across our brand's domains. As a Strategy & Portfolio Planning Intern you will be responsible to collaborate with all functions including Product Management, Sales, Marketing and Finance to develop strategy and help guide its successful execution. You will help develop/execute strategies to drive growth for the business unit.

SUMMER INTERN POSITIONS ARE PRIMARILY BASED IN ARMONK, NY, LOWELL, MA, AND CAMBRIDGE, MA

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

• Have strong research and business analysis skills
• Have a knack for how to strengthen the business-case
• Have a desire for continued learning about enterprise software strategy
• Be tenacious in going after business challenges and find data wherever it may reside to conduct fact-based data-driven analysis
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:

• Expert user in Excel and PowerPoint preferred
• Domain expertise in Supply Chain, Asset Management or Sustainability is a plus
