Ingram Micro is seeking a motivated and talented Summer Intern – Marketing Account Management to join us in June for our 10-week PAID Summer Internship Program! We are looking for ambitious college and university students who are ready to expand their skills and apply them to meaningful work with a global organization.
Location: This role will be based in our Irvine, California office. The intern who fills this role must be able to work out of this office for a minimum of 2 days per week, with the opportunity for hybrid work.
Program Details
We have internships available across our various departments and locations throughout the U.S. including Irvine, CA, Buffalo, NY, Fort Worth, TX, Joliet, IL, and Carol Stream, IL. Unless otherwise noted – all internships are on a hybrid format at the designated office listed in the job description, and are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Our program includes cohort activities such as learning & development trainings, executive speaker sessions, group projects, and other events.

June 5th – August 11th: First cohort start & end date (for semester system students who start summer break earlier)
June 19th – August 25th: Second cohort start & end date (for quarter system students who start summer break later)

Responsibilities of your role:
This role will support our Marketing Account Management team, who works directly with our manufacturer clients to create and execute marketing plans to achieve business outcomes.
This role will be responsible for:
Assisting with various execution tasks related to our SMBA Unplugged & ONE events
Managing and executing specific marketing activities
Collaborating with internal teams and intern cohort
Generating new ideas and making recommendations back to the management team
Knowledge, skills, and/or abilities you need to have:
Actively enrolled in an accredited college/university program, or recently graduated (within the last semester or quarter) from an accredited college/university program.
Strong academic record with a cumulative overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
Experience working on team projects with tied to outcomes
Understanding of marketing including personas, digital, and brand management.
Effective communication skills, creative writing, high attention to detail
Curious mindset, proactive results-focused, and team oriented

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $20-25/hour.
The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
Please be prepared to pass a drug test and successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check that includes verification of vaccination status.
