The Supplier Performance & Diversity Analyst:
Manages activities related to procurement, sourcing, supplier selection, product delivery specifications, and quality.
Develops and maintains working relationships with supply chain partners.
Establishes purchasing processes and procedures for the organization.
Evaluates technology needs and procure essential technology products.
Ensures purchases remain within budget and on schedule.
Manages inventory levels and receives requisitions, reviewing each item for specifications for quantity, specifications, and delivery requirements.
Collaborates with other departments to prioritize procurement needs.
Develops and investigates supply sources, and issue request proposals, quotations, or bids for those items not covered by any existing purchasing agreement.
Position Summary:
A summary of the overall scope of the position.
Will support all aspects of supplier performance management.
Responsible for supporting the development and deployment of department process improvements, organizational initiatives, and project/procurement/sourcing activities.
Prepares and provides documentation and/or training to facilitate implementation of any changes to current or new processes, relating to supplier performance and our diversity program.
Collaborates with co-workers to facilitate successful implementation of supplier performance process and procedures.
Promotes, tracks, and measures compliance with program changes by creating and implementing appropriate data collection, reporting, and/or recordkeeping processes.
Should be able to create, track and report supplier performance metrics in support of our sourcing teams and business partners.
Makes recommendations for improvements, which may include new practices, forms, reports, and or data collection techniques.
Supports his/her manager in the management and deployment of a SRM program and our supplier diversity program.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
