JOB DESCRIPTION:

Leidos is seeking a Supplier Sustainability Analyst Intern in Reston, VA.

Leidos has a job opening for Supplier Sustainability Analyst Intern in the Washington, DC Metro Area (Reston, VA).  This is an exciting opportunity to learn and gain experience with supply chain strategy, supplier sustainability and social responsibility in the federal marketplace.  The Supplier Sustainability Analyst Intern performs a variety tasks within the organization during vacations and short-term breaks from college attendance while enrolled in an accredited degree program.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide support with environmental, policy analysis, communication plan development and implementation, vendor engagement, supplier warehouse development, supplier vetting vendor pools, data analysis, special projects, research and analysis which may require guided collaborations with key stakeholders in a variety of functional areas supported by the Leidos Supplier Sustainability Program.    

There will also be opportunities to work special projects with multi-functional teams. The most successful candidates will have a desire to be a part of a team, enjoy hard work and learning on the job from a team of other talented professionals.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Governance, Political Science, Environmental Engineering, Supply Chain/Logistics, Business Admin, Finance or related field. Minimum GPA 3.0.

• Excellent computer skills (excel/pivot tables, MS Word and PowerPoint).

• Knowledge of html, CSS, and web development a plus

• Effective verbal and written communications skills.

• The ability to work under tough time constraints.

• US Citizenship is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3.0 GPA.

• Candidates local to the area.

PAY RANGE:

• $36,400.00 - $56,000.00 - $75,600.00
