    Want to work with highly motivated individuals that come together to form high performance team? Come join WWT today! We are looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to support our Operations and Logistics teams located in Edwardsville, IL.

     

    This position will be focused on using analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and enhance supply chain processes. This person will also be responsible for assembling data, analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations which support SCM planning and operations.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide expertise and proactive Supply Chain analysis for process design, revision, implementation, and improvements
    • Provide software enhancement recommendations and general support across the supply chain
    • Aid in requirements gathering with Program Manager during start up meetings with customer
    • Assist in new business program start-up; including gathering and communicating business requirements, interacting directly with our customer, being an active participant in execution and rollout of the new business program
    • Liaison with IT for all setups in system(s) new or improvements
    • Execution of software application test scenarios and user acceptance testing
    • Technical writing of Quality Documents for Operations, Procurement, Integration Lab, and Manufacturing Departments
    • Leading selected training and educating efforts for customers
    • Suggest optimal ordering & reporting solutions
    • Produce flowcharts to support material movements throughout the supply chain process
    • SCA liaises between PM, Supply Chain Ops and IT to communicate &coordinate their activities to achieve the best utilization of resources on the customers behalf
    • Assist PM with pulling together all valuable resources to accomplish start-ups & improvements
    • Support all start up setups required in Oracle, SDA, Connect Sites, etc.
    • Process Flows for new, improved, & existing processes
    • Participate in the coordination of engineering changes, product line extensions, or new product launches to ensure orderly and timely transitions in material or production flow
    • Travel may be required to support other regional facilities
  • Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred -- desired degree in Management Information Systems, Supply Chain Operations, or Logistics. PMP preferred but not required.
    • Working knowledge of planning, purchasing, warehousing, light assembly, distribution, and transportation is strongly preferred.
    • Strong ERP (Oracle Applications) experience is preferred.
    • Investigative ability, critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required.
    • Project Management skills and a training background is preferred.
    • Excellent organizational skills, oral/written communication, and follow-up skills are required.
    • Ability to embrace change of priorities on a regular basis.
    • Ability to manage several projects at one time and work independently to meet deadlines.
    • Availability to travel to support other regional facilities.
    • Excellent PC skills with Microsoft Office Suite are required.
