    **Fellow - Sustainable Banking, Finance, and Investment **

    Key Responsibilities:

    Globally, TCS is well-recognized for its experience and capability to deliver technology-based solutions and advisory services to help clients, across industries and sectors, embed sustainability and transition to a low-carbon economy. With financial institutions, TCS offers advisory services by leveraging solutions to help clients embed Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and climate factors into business models, operations and culture to meet their operational sustainability, sustainable finance, and responsible investment objectives.

    To that end, the sustainable banking, finance, and investments team at TCS North America is seeking paid fellow(s) with background and interest in ESG, climate, business and sustainability and financial services industry to support the team to achieve its business strategy. TCS offers mentorship, meaningful growth opportunities, and collaborative work culture to thrive and feel fulfilled about their contribution towards building a responsible society.

    The fellow(s) will be responsible to:

    • Assist the global team stay abreast of market and sector-based trends and asset classes that impact the sustainable finance ecosystem
    • Draft memos based on sector and company-specific, quantitative, and qualitative research, to advise management, support engagements and advisory work with clients
    • Research and develop innovative tech-based sustainability solutions, in a collaborative work environment, to help financial services clients’ transition to a low-carbon circular economy
    • Contribute to and author thought leadership on subjects that affect the US and global sustainable finance ecosystem
    • Support the preparation of funding proposals and Request for Proposals, case studies, reports, and presentations

    • Motivated to think and link sustainability factors and business value.   
    • Knowledge of global voluntary frameworks such as GRI, SASB, CDP, TCFD, SFDR, IFC’s environmental and social performance standards, in addition to, sector-based frameworks and proposed ISSB sustainability and climate disclosures
    • Strong quantitative and qualitative and communications skills
    • Ability to link climate science, policy, and market developments to shape corporate action and investment decisions
    • Ability to work with teams and clients across different time zones

    Fellowship Eligibility Requirements:

    • Actively enrolled in an accredited master’s or PhD program at a US university focusing on finance, economics, international affairs, sustainable development, sustainability and environmental management, circular economy, or related, Masters or PhD program
    • Cumulative GPA 3.0+
    • Must be a** graduate student at an accredited institution within the United States **
    • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment
    • Applicant must work 40 hours per week for 8 to 12 weeks over the summer (June through August)
