Your Role and Responsibilities

The VMware Systems Administrator (3/4) is an entry level Support Technician with support experience with VMware for management of VMware vSphere server infrastructure. Please note that this role is management of the virtual infrastructure and not the Windows, Linux, etc. virtual machines that utilize this infrastructure. Specific job responsibilities include implementing, managing and migrating vSphere environments using VMware ESXi and vCenter; managing the security and stability of VMware products; managing all facets of the subsystems necessary to support the delivery environment including capacity, networking and storage; maintaining vRealize Operations Manager; maintaining Cisco UCS Manager and UCS Central environments; ability to document processes and procedures; providing good customer service during all interactions; communicating and working with customers; working as a part of an overall team on a daily basis; following IBM policies and procedures

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• vSphere 5.x and 6.x to include vCenter Server for Windows, vCenter Server Linux Appliance and VMware ESXi
• Microsoft Office products
• Eager to quickly learn new skills
• Ability to provide professional interactions with customers via email and phone
• Highly organized, motivated and able to meet deadlines
