We are looking for an ambitious accounting major who seeks an opportunity to learn within a fast-paced and dynamic tax department at an entrepreneurial and rapidly-growing company. The Tax Intern will be responsible for assisting with domestic and international tax compliance and reports to the Manager –Taxes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in gathering data and preparing work papers to be used in the preparation of corporate income tax returns.
• Assist with gathering and preparing data in connection with any sales /income tax audits
• Assist with analysis, calculation, and preparation of estimated income tax payments
• Assist in responding to federal, state, and foreign tax notices
• Assist with payment requests while liaising with Accounting and Treasury
• Conduct thorough research of various sales tax and or income tax issues
• Organize, and file tax data
• Other ad hoc tax/treasury projects, as needed.

Required Skills

• Junior or senior in accredited college with a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Accounting major
• Excellent excel skills
• Great communication skills
