The Verizon Threat Response Advisory Center (VTRAC) Intelligence Team requires a Surface, Deep, and Dark Web/Investigative Research Consultant (Dark web Hunter) to support the Dark Web Hunting as a Service, the Rapid Response Retainer (RRR), and provide weekly, sometimes daily reporting requiring cyber intelligence support to customers. This person also provides threat intelligence to external customers requiring early warning of adversarial attempts to degrade and disrupt their business operations. In order to proactively detect and identify such activity or investigate on-going attacks from foreign adversaries and cyber criminals, VTRAC requires a Junior, Surface, Deep, and Dark Web Investigative Research Consultant (Dark web Hunter) that can, with supervision, conduct in-depth and investigative research, identification, and detection of adversarial attempts to degrade and disrupt their landscape, supply chains, physical infrastructure, personnel, and cyber ecosystems.
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or three or more years of work experience.
Three or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
Three or more years of experience in cyber security ( Basic computer skills and understanding, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA PenTest+).
Able to troubleshoot computer and networking issues with minimal to no supervision Call center experience.
Coding languages - Python or Javascript.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
A degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Information technology.
Related skills/certifications: OSCP, CISSP, PCI QSA, CISA, CISM, etc.
Strong organizing skills such as project management experience.
Open Source Intelligence Certifications.
