Dell's Experience Innovation Group (EIG) is seeking a talented UX Designer Intern to help us develop cutting-edge product experiences across the world's most in-depth portfolio of End User and Enterprise products. As a UX Design Intern, you will play a crucial role in understanding and shaping the software and hardware experiences for technologies that drive human progress by collaborating with users, partners, and customers to solve problems we may not yet recognize. You will be a part of the Experience Strategy Team and assist in creating and implementing world-class experiences that push the boundaries of what's possible.

Responsibilities

• Work with your mentor on a personal UX Design or UX Research project and/or participate in ongoing product development (depending on your internship duration and goals)
• Use strategic design thinking to envision and prototype software and hardware concepts
• Conduct competitive analysis, user research, and testing to support the product development process
• Collaborate with internal teams (design and technology teams across Experience Innovation Group) and external teams (marketing & engineering)

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Advanced Degree in UX, Product Design, Industrial Design, Service Design, HCI, or a related discipline (Graduation date must be beyond the internship term)
• Keen visual sense, with an ability to create designs that are not just clean and polished but also fresh and exciting
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of human-centered design principles and methods, including research, ideation, and user testing
• You are a good storyteller and can communicate a powerful narrative no matter the medium (video creation skills are a plus)
• Can develop and visualize software interactions and create interactive prototypes using tools such as Figma, Notion, Framer, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator
• Experience working with 3D product design and visualization tools such as Blender, Keyshot, C4D, or Rhino is a plus
• Experience in JavaScript, Python, CSS, HTML is a plus
