A VPS Internship—which is part of the overall Verizon Campus Program—will give you a chance to channel your drive and enthusiasm. You’ll work in a dynamic group to deliver seamless and innovate local and global network solutions to provide a better experience, better performance and better business results to our customers.

As a VPS IT Client Services Summer Intern, you may work in these areas:

• User Interface
• Artificial Intelligence
• Machine Learning

In this role, you may have the opportunity to:

• Create prototypes for Configure, Quote, or Purchase applications.
• Develop data, completion price, or customer behavior modeling.
• Analyze customer experience journey mapping.
• Develop Robotic Process Automation to eliminate manual tasks.
• Create predictive analysis for customer interactions such as, Chatbots, Screen Displays,
• Recommend actions/ products & services

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR...

You’re a motivated self-starter. Never satisfied with the status quo, you’re always trying to beat a personal best. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where new challenges come up every day. You are flexible, dependable and work well in varying environments. Learning quickly is personally rewarding and inspires you to take smart risks.

You’ll need to have:

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s program in, System Engineering, Graphic & Web Design Development, Computer Graphics, UX/UI, Visual Communication, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Engineering, Data Science, Process Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics or a related major with an expected completion date between December 2020 and June 2022.

Even better if you have:

• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Demonstrated strong analytic, communication, leadership and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively in a fast-moving, team environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite of Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Related coursework in computer engineering and design.
• Specific project experience with UX/UI design, or artificial intelligence
