THE DETAILS

Rapid advances in technology are evolving the face and pace of our business. You can be a part of driving change at Liberty Mutual! As a TechStart Intern, you'll be embedded in our tech teams as we seek technology-based solutions-together-to improve the customer experience. You'll dig deep into a wide array of projects-from customer-facing mobile apps to slick back-end solutions. You'll learn how to speak tech languages, including Java, AngularJS, and SQL, while you become proficient in data mining, warehousing, and other emerging technologies. And you'll learn and grow your skills in the spirit of collaboration. Our teams work closely in all aspects of tech development-from writing user stories to backlog grooming to sprint planning.

WHAT YOU'VE GOT

• You're working towards a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Informatics, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or other related technical program.
• You're crushing it with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
• You are fully authorized to work in the U.S. without restrictions.
• You know your way around various IT concepts, strategies, and methodologies.
• You have a general knowledge of design and development tools.
• You're fluent with at least one or more software development languages, preferably Java.
