GLOBAL ATLANTIC'S INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

The Global Atlantic offers an immersive 10 week summer internship program that allows students to learn critical skills in a business setting. Our program runs from June 6, 2022 to August 12, 2022. We offer Executive Business Overviews, Networking Challenges, Social Events, interaction with senior leaders, meaningful work and so much more. POSITION OVERVIEW

The Summer Intern will join GA’s New York Institutional business, work closely with other members of the team and interface with business leaders and senior management to:

• Support in producing investment analysis on all potential reinsurance and acquisition opportunities. This consists of building three-statement financial models and presentation materials detailing the strategic rationale and economic thesis
• Present investment recommendations to senior team-members
• Collaborate with team members to prepare materials used to support transaction recommendations to GA’s management team (including the CEO, CIO, CFO and CRO)
• Engage in and support the negotiation of transaction opportunities with potential clients / counterparties
• Monitor financial markets and assess impact on the business and potential transaction opportunities
• Collaborate both within Institutional business, as well as with other areas such as Investments, Risk, Actuarial, Finance, and Legal

• May 2023 graduates with an outstanding academic record and high level of personal integrity preferred
• Strong analytical / quantitative and technical abilities, organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Demonstrated interest in finance and strategy
• Prior internships in investment banking, consulting, or insurance is preferred
