    POSITION OVERVIEW

    Automation Engineer Interns are responsible for learning and contributing business value to projects utilizing a variety of technologies. These technologies are deployed to improve speed, efficiency, and quality control of Global Atlantic Finance, Shared Services and/or Enterprise Application processes.

    Automation Engineer Interns are given the opportunity to learn and work on projects across the entire technology lifecycle. Beginning with business need identification, to solution design, development, and installation in our production technology environment. Essential duties and responsibilities will be completed in direct partnership with the technology team.

    RESPONSIBLITIES

    • Analyze business requirements

    • Design implementation solutions from business requirements

    • Develop or build solutions leveraging Mendix, Tableau or PowerShell Technology

    • Test the build products - Unit and Integration Testing

    • Participate in troubleshooting and fixing issues in functional testing and UAT Testing phases.

    • Participate in business and technology discussion for requirement gathering, analysis, prototype build, design reviews, testing

    • Deploy and support the product solution in the production environment

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • PURSUING A BACHELORS DEGREE GRADUATING IN 2024

    • Strong programming skills in Java or .NET and/or good business acumen and exposure to Information Technology

    • Passion for technology and problem solving

    • Familiarity with SQL and/or Excel formulas

    • Strong work ethic

    • Ability to ramp up quickly

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Flexibility

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
