POSITION OVERVIEW

Global Atlantic has a summer internship opportunity available in the Risk department in the Boston, MA office. The internship will provide exposure to company's enterprise operational risk management function. The internship also provides an opportunity to develop a high-level understanding of Global Atlantic's business and how it operates. Potential projects or tasks for the internship include the following:

• Update and improve existing operational risk written procedures and reports

• Compile and analyze emerging operational risks

• Prepare presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders

• Participate in and present work at team meetings

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong academic record in pursuit of a four-year degree with concentrations and/or interests in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or other quantitative field (minimum 3.0 GPA); preference towards students currently in their Junior year

• Excellent computer skills, including MS Excel and PowerPoint; Python, VBA or other programming experience a plus

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication (written and verbal) skills

• Pro-active, detail oriented, curious, and deadline driven

• Results oriented, flexible, self-motivated, and able to work in a team environment with limited direct supervision
