    Job Description Summary

    As an E-Risk Underwriting Intern, you will gain tangible, hands-on experience and insight into all aspects of our business. Interns will learn the importance of customer relationships and what underwriters are looking for in each risk. Interns will be involved in company projects, work through case studies with mentors and individually, plus learn about the unique accounts we insure. Interns will also be provided with educational sessions, exposure to all aspects of E-Risk underwriting work, networking, and team-building opportunities. High performing interns may be considered for a full-time job after graduation.

    Skills/Qualifications Desired:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
    • Prefer some insurance coursework and analytical skills
    • Attention to detail, good judgement
    • Negotiation and interpersonal skills, time management and service orientation
    • Ability to work with excel
