JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Nationwide Pet Actuarial Pricing team works with all areas of Nationwide's Pet business to deliver solutions. We support Product by providing profitability analyses, rate recommendations, impact calculations and rate filing support. We work closely with our business partners, so strong social and communication skills are vital to our success.
INTERNSHIP ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Interns will make meaningful contributions to the team by working on actual pricing tasks including rate reviews, impact calculations, ad-hoc analyses, and meetings with business partners. Interns will also be provided with educational sessions, exposure to all aspects of Nationwide Pet actuarial work, and networking and team-building opportunities.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED
Prefer at least 1 actuarial exam passed
Prefer some actuarial coursework
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
