Primary Responsibilities
• Actively participate in a one year training program to learn the insurance industry and each line of business within QBE's Middle Market
•Maintain and build upon product, system and process knowledge
•In partnership with assigned Underwriter, review, analyze and make recommendations based on QBE's appetite, pricing, coverage, and conditions of new business
•Evaluate risk on current customers and prospects
•Manage assigned book of business under the supervision of an Underwriter
•Own, maintain, and develop relationships with assigned select brokers
•Independently assist with the review and analysis of the portfolio to evaluate progress toward business objectives and proactively identify opportunities
•Provide a timely and professional level of service to internal and external customers
•Consistently adhere to underwriting compliance with business and regulatory requirements, service levels and within individual delegated authority

Required Education
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

• 0-1 year relevant experience

• General office jobs: Work is generally performed in an office environment in which there is not substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
