    The intern for the group will work directly with the Overpayment Recovery Unit (ORU) to understand their processes and workflows. To help solution out an IT application or program that will bring efficiencies and help promote operational excellence. Develop departmental business requirements in order to enhance productivity.

    Enhance a basic “Business Acumen” skills

    •           Perform Job shadowing with the selected business unit, to understand the nature of the business, to perform some level          of value proposition designing. 

    •           Opportunity to develop web applications on the Microsoft stack (ASP.NET Webforms, MVC framework, JQuery, HTMLS,             JavaScript AJAX, C#, Java, SOAP, Web Services Restful).

    •           Learn or enhance knowledge of Java and .net experience to support web portal and applications 

    •           Learn or enhance knowledge of SQL Server and relational database concepts (Oracle and MSSQL)

    •           Learn or enhance knowledge Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence

    •           Learn or enhance knowledge of Agile (Scrum) project methodology

    •           Ability to integrate moderately complex hardware and software systems 

    •           Develop and maintain system documentation. 

    •           Interact with internal customers to answer questions and requests regarding system issues. 

    •           Server side scripting

  • Qualifications
    • Currently enrolled in a program of study at an accredited college or university working on graduate or undergraduate  studies
    • GPA 3.0
    • Must have previous Java programming experience 
    • Information Systems (Business Basic knowledge)
    • Will need a basic understanding how humans interact with information systems.
    • Have the aptitude to be a liaison between the IT and Business
    • Possess strong written and oral communication skills
    • Be proficient in MS Office applications like MS-Word and Excel; being familiar with SharePoint is a plus
