    The Clinical Quality Program Specialist (Intern) will be responsible for…

    Primary responsibilities include supporting:

    • Support activities for Monthly Group based meetings, tracking requirements to improve member satisfaction and overall group performance.
    • Support in outreach activities for member/provider incentive programs, HEDIS code review and clinic day events.
    • Support in data reconciliation process for during the annual HEDIS reporting cycle.
    • Collect content information from cross functional units to be applied to Monthly Quality Performance Reports.
    • Create desk-top procedure for newly developed processes under the Quality Spectrum (HEDIS, CAHPS, Encounter and Utilization Management)
    • Support the annual medical record procurement process to increase HEDIS performance rates.

    Functions OR examples of projects for this role:

    • Assist in the data pull of Gaps in Care Reports for Virtual Provider Group Meetings.
    • Maintain and input Work Plan information for designated associates.
    • Filing and logging DHCS All Plan Letters.
    • Maintain shared in-box for the Quality Management team.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Pursuing a degree in Healthcare Related fields (Healthcare Management, Community Health Planning, or other related degrees.
    • This internship is from June to August and is 40 hours per week
    • Must be enrolled fulltime at an accredited college or university during internship
    • Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements
