THE COMMERCIAL REVENUE ACCOUNTING INTERN will support month-end close functions, projects, and initiatives. The right candidate will receive an orientation to the company, the health benefits industry, exposure to the practical application of accounting concepts, multiple system interfaces, and have the opportunity to work with other finance areas such as financial planning & analysis, actuarial, and underwriting.

**THIS INTERNSHIP IS SEEKING A STUDENT TO BEGIN IN JANUARY 2021.

Essential duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Preparation of low complexity journal entries and reconciliations  
• Researching accounting data, audit support, and information analysis
• Balancing various Billing systems.

Student Qualifications:

• The individual will be a sophomore or junior enrolled in a BA/BS degree program and pursuing a degree in accounting or finance
• The individual should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hrs/week. The internship can be extended up to 12 months (i.e January 2021 - December 2021)
