Description
This Commercial Sales Intern will be responsible for supporting our New Hampshire Large Group Sales team in a variety of projects related to healthcare cost analytics, full-cycle sales processes, and client communications. For the duration of the internship, this intern will work with a senior mentor to gain a full circle understanding of sales within the Healthcare industry.
This internship will follow a hybrid (remote and onsite) position based out of our Manchester, NH office.
The Elevance Health Summer Internship Program is a 12-week immersive experience designed to provide students with real-life, challenging project work, improve business acumen, provide exposure to senior and executive leadership, and the opportunity to learn more about the healthcare industry! Interns will participate in career and professional development activities and networking events with other interns and associates.

How you will make an impact:
Support the organization and facilitation of resolutions to claim inquiries from external partners
Strategize and assist in organizing client presentations
Assist in planning document reviews to learn benefits and other relevant industry documentation
Learn about benefit data inputs into Salesforce and support subsequent data analysis
Observe the processes of external strategy/renewal meetings and participate in light broker events
Engage in opportunities to do innovative work that means more to you and those we serve
Create greater care for our members, greater value for our customers, and greater health for our communities
Minimum Requirements:
Currently enrolled in a program of study at an accredited college/university. Business Administration or similar degree-tracks are preferred, but all majors are welcome to apply
Authorization to work in the U.S., without future visa sponsorship requirements
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
Comfortability working in a fast-paced environment and a quick learner, as training will be provided.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral
Excellent Problem-solving, Analytical, and Organizational skills
Excellent Public Speaking and Presentation skills
