Since Nationwide's business is domestic focused, we have minimal foreign tax issues that global companies face. However, we do have filing requirements for nearly all states and US territories.

    INTERNSHIP ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Our tax intern will primarily work with our state income tax team, preparing various tax returns, assisting with notices, and other team projects. The role will be exposed to other tax functions such as federal income and premium tax processes - through onboarding sessions or tasked assignments. We place a heavy emphasis on continuous improvement in the department, so our interns are encouraged to provide suggestions for improvements and perhaps work on implementing projects.
