DESCRIPTION

This DATA ANALYTICS INTERN will be responsible for supporting our Commercial Rating and Renewals team in various projects including but not limited to, business administration, data reporting and documentation, and report automation.

This is a HYBRID work opportunity based out of our ATLANTA, GA office. This internship will run for 10 WEEKS (JUNE 5TH-AUGUST 11TH) on a full-time, or 40 HOURS PER WEEK schedule.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

• Developing high quality visualization, analytics, and reports

• Utilizing data processing tools to analyze large-scale datasets for accuracy and reasonableness

• Researching and implementing automation solutions to increase the productivity and efficiency of the assigned project-based data work

• Developing advanced analytic dashboards for operational reporting to provide the business with the ability to make data driven decisions

• Interfacing with business leaders, senior leadership, legal, compliance, technology, data, and financial groups as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Currently enrolled in an applicable program of study at an accredited college/university. Preferred majors include, but are not limited to; Business Analytics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, and Data Analytics

• GPA of 3.5 or higher. Rising Juniors and Seniors are preferred

• Excellent Problem-solving, Analytical, and Organizational skills

• Ability to solve well defined analytical problems independently

• Ability to deliver assignment/projects timely and accurately

• Ability to collaborate with team members effectively

• Possess a strong intellectual curiosity and motivated to grow knowledge and develop new skills

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
