  • Responsibilities

    Job Description:

    The Employment Solutions Program Intern will be responsible for fulfilling or ordering supportive services needed by members to remove barriers to employment. They will also support member employment plans like accessing workforce resources that include credentialing, upskilling, mentorship, and professional development.

    Our Medicaid business is a leader in serving low-income families and people with disabilities through state-sponsored health care programs.

    How you will make an impact:

    • Fulfilling member supportive services requests

    • Helping plan and design program processes and make recommendations for improvement

    • Performing research and analysis in support of operations

    • Assisting with following up with members in program and documenting member interactions

    • Helping launch new initiates

    • Completing additional projects upon request

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Ability to work 40 hours per week during the duration of the summer internship program

    • Actively pursuing a degree in business administration, public health, or related major during the duration of the internship at an accredited college/university.

    • Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements

    Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

    • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and a quick learner.

    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

    • Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral.

    • Excellent Problem-solving, Analytical, and Organizational skills

    • Excellent Public Speaking and Presentation skills
