A FHPS Operations Intern will be responsible for supporting the FHPS Operations Team in a remote work environment.  This role will conduct assessments of current processes and procedures to identify process improvement and recommend solutions for corrective actions.  This position will collaborate with business partners to create a seamless experience for our customers and resolve potential issues.

How you will make an impact:

• Working with the operations team to identify approaches that align with the FHPS service and claims strategy to identify members with health inequities and develop interventions.

• Working with project resources to design and build the supporting infrastructure needed to launch the identified project initiative.

• Detailing business requirements, processing, and program design, assessing training and communication needs, developing materials, engaging with supporting resources to determine task ownership, and building the needed infrastructure to support a successful implementation

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the Summer 2023 internship

• Actively pursuing a degree in business or related field at an accredited university during internship

• Ability to work during business hours (7:30 am to 5:30 pm)

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and a quick learner

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

• Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral.

• Excellent Problem-solving, Analytical, and Organizational skills

• Excellent Public Speaking and Presentation skills

• A composed individual able to multi-task, navigating multiple computer applications and working efficiently
