    This is an exceptional opportunity to do innovative work that means more to you and those we serve.  The intern for this position will assist the Business Analyst with daily and weekly department needs on an ongoing basis.   

    The administrative responsibilities will consist of:

    • Works with C2C Portal to export incoming data on upcoming hearing load
    • Preliminary training in the appeals process for Medicare
    • Extended training to cover OMHA judicial and field office structures
    • Initial Right Fax access to field incoming communications
    • Training in automated mail distribution
    • Immediate outlook access to both contract inboxes (JK/J6) for exposure to workflow communications
    • Access to external portal to retrieve NOH and prep excel spreadsheets for data population
    • ALJ folder access and detailed review of hearing folder setup and document recordkeeping
    • Initiate MAS access and user profile permissions
    • MAS training to support data extraction for spreadsheet population and records retrieval
    • Introduction to special contractor and MAC collaboration initiatives
  • Qualifications
    • A veteran asset will be familiar with government process environments and external partnership values
    • Time management and organizational skills will support diverse workload
    • Strong MS Word and Excel skills
    • Experience with a military team-based culture will translate well to the ALJ business unit where each role has definitive importance.
    • Candidates with military experience and training are encouraged.
    • Candidates do not need to be students; military experience preferred and can be substituted for educational experience
