The HEALTH PLAN OPERATIONS INTERN will be responsible for contributing to health plan operations related projects and process improvement initiatives.
Primary responsibilities include supporting the following projects:
OPERATIONS + PROVIDER REPS PARTNERSHIP PROJECT:
Key project deliverable(s):
PROVIDER DATA GOVERNANCE DASHBOARD PROJECT:
Key project deliverable(s):
A completed dashboard
A completed assessment identifying potential solutions
AD HOC OPERATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES:
The intern will have exposure to projects at all levels (e.g. front line staff, management and executives)
Dedicated weekly mentorship sessions with Operations Leadership
Opportunity to participate in various internal and external meetings with a wide variety of healthcare operational topics
Opportunity to contribute to departmental operational assignments
QUALIFICATIONS:
Pursuing a degree in Business, Psychology, Organizational Development, Public Health, Heathcare Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science or other related degrees
This internship is from June 6th to August 12th and is 40 hours per week/or 20 hours per week depending on school schedule in a virtual setting
Must be enrolled fulltime at an accredited college or university during internship
Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Required (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
Experience with Microsoft Sharepoint preferred, but not required)
