    The INTEGRATED PRODUCT MANAGEMENT INTERN will sit in Anthem’s Diversified Business Group (DBG), which focuses on delivering high touch and high tech, whole person coordinated care to those who need it most, wherever they are. Within DBG, you will report into the team overseen by VP of Product Management.

    Primarily responsibilities include…

    • Contribute to the delivery of high-priority clinical products by:

      • Synthesizing external market research (e.g. competitors, vendors, provider Centers of Excellence, trends)

      • Working with design and marketing teams to understand unmet needs in the market, and outline key workflows (e.g. Operations)

      • Collaborating with team in drafting a business case, and defining success KPIs

      • Supporting team in developing high points of a product roadmap

    • Support internal product / portfolio governance process; Manage deliverables, communication 

    • External outreach and communications (e.g. with provider COEs)

    Functions and examples of projects for this role: 

    • Examples of clinical products:

      • End-to-end care advocacy for underserved populations, with a focus on Social Determinants of Health

      • Early identification and management of members at-risk of kidney or cardiac or musculoskeletal disease / disorders

    • Functional areas of focus: early product ideation and definition, supporting product design / development and implementation

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Student Qualifications:

    • Pursuing a degree in Product Management or business-related degrees (Master’s highly preferred)

    • Ability to work from May to August in a 40 hours per week in a virtual setting

    • Fulltime enrollment at an accredited college or university during internship

    • Authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Interest in & broad understanding of the healthcare industry 

    • Passion for Product Development and Design

    • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
