    Examples of past intern projects include:

    • Artificial intelligence pilot to predict patient care needs
    • ID card pilot for address management system
    • Change management training module creation and rollout
    • Salesforce intake and workflow creation
    • Clinical decisioning framework development
  • Qualifications

    Successful consulting intern candidates are:

    • Pursuing a Master’s degree at an accredited college or university in one of the following fields: Business Administration, Behavioral Economics, Finance, Organizational Development and Change or Human Centered Design
    • Anticipating a December 2021 or May 2022 graduation date
    • Achieving a 3.0 GPA
    • Prior interns or associates in the healthcare industry (preferred)
    • Intellectually curious self-starters with the ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible team environment
    • Experienced leaders in student or volunteer organizations
  • Desired skills

    Desired skills include:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication
    • Superb problem-solving skills using logic and data
    • Critical thinking and analytical skills
    • Data analytics and data visualization skills
    • Advanced user of  Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word; experience with Visio
    • Process improvement, including problem definition, measurement system implementation, data analysis, application of process centric methodologies/tools; Six Sigma certification preferred
    • Project management, including project plan development, time/budget management, risk management, template development, milestone tracking
    • Change management, including application of ADKAR change management principles
