The Selected intern will support in team management meetings and hear current business efforts, how they are resolved, and decision making behind such

Work on project based work, to include:

• Update/Create training documentation for processes with particular attention to standardized/consistent formatting, proper grammar, consistent/coherent use of language/statements/abbreviations/acronyms and proper display of data allowing for best understanding and decision making ability (by users)
• Create workflow diagrams to explain processes with standardized workflow diagram use; learning Vision and proper use/meaning of flowchart symbols (and consequently the process itself)
• Validate and proofread key reference documents for team and organization use
• Validate random samples of provider information as it is reported to the company and subsequently displayed in provider directories and on-line provider search tools
• Competitor market research and subsequent analysis to improve understanding of market players and how they deliver key benefits to Medicare/Medicaid recipients
• Verbal and visual presentation of efforts accomplished to management
• Read 7 Habits of Highly Effective People (and put into practice) and documentation pertaining to the Health Insurance industry (particularly as it pertains to Medicare/Medicaid)

Efforts will require excellent hand-eye coordination to work in a fast paced environment where the use of multiple software packages in a virtual communications environment

• You must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with a preferred winter 2021 / spring 2022 graduation date. Rising Juniors and Seniors
• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Be motivated and willing to learn with strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Skilled at working collaboratively, developing creative solutions, and accomplishing team goals.
• Have proficiency with Microsoft Windows software applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook, Visio Preferred).
• Pursuing degree in sales, marketing, or similar field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Member focused and customer service orientated
• Compassionate and passionate about health and social issues that impact the community
