Possible areas of work for the MMUS Investment Management Track

Fund Operations:

• Provide relationship management and support to the fund companies.
• Will handle compliance and due diligence requests from fund companies and assist with the filing of governance related filings, SEC rules, and security procedures.
• In addition will work closely with fund companies to executive agreements with MM to sell their products and will negotiate revenue.

Product and Marketing:

• Conduct manager of managers research, asset allocation research/management and client facing investment consulting/strategy.
• Research project - comparing MM Funds complex vs. other similar fund complexes; AUM, fund overlap, gaps, etc. Data project as well as interviewing external product groups for best practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current Sophomore or Junior enrolled in a four-year Bachelor degree program
• Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
• Demonstrated leadership skills gained from student clubs, community involvement or work experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communication
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship, both now and in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher
• Strong, creative problem solver
• Works autonomously, self-starter
• Intellectually curious and agile learner
• Preference for business majors
• Exposure to Bloomberg, MorningstarDirect, Factset
