    GLOBAL ATLANTIC'S INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

    The Global Atlantic offers an immersive 10 week summer internship program that allows students to learn critical skills in a business setting. Our program runs from June 6, 2022 to August 12, 2022. We offer Executive Business Overviews, Networking Challenges, Social Events, interaction with senior leaders, meaningful work and so much more.     POSITION OVERVIEW

    Works with marketing and business partners to strategize on and execute in support of marketing initiatives and campaigns aligned with specific Go-to-Market (Retirement, Life and various Sales) goals. Performs various administrative tasks, as assigned. Works under general supervision. Does not manage others.

    PRIMARY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    Supports and collaborates with Marketing partners on the Go-to-Market team to assist in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, sales collateral (including video) and digital content in support of marketing strategies aligned to specific business unit needs. This role will partner and/or interact with the following Marketing areas: Strategy, Communication, Creative Services, Copywriting, Print and Production and Digital areas of Marketing.

    • Meet with internal teams to discuss client requirements, strategy and core messages.
    • Attend meetings with Sales and internal stakeholders to determine needs.
    • Work with members of the team to brainstorm ideas and concepts for execution.
    • Provide direction to writers based on brainstorm results; edit copy.
    • Help deliver conceptual guidance to on- and offline designers to execute on vision.
    • Help present initial ideas and content to the internal stakeholders.
    • Gather input from internal stakeholders and determine how to best incorporate into revised deliverable.
    • Learn how to use internal software and systems to help funnel work through proper pipelines.
    • Aid in the submission of content to Compliance for review.
    • Work with Print/Production/Digital to coordinate and ensure timely delivery of marketing deliverables.
    • Partner with Digital to obtain and report on metrics for various campaigns and digital assets like corporate and advisor webpages.
    • Learn software to help create/distribute email templates, campaigns.
    • Assist in special event/meeting planning and execution.
    • Work onad-hoc projects as assigned

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
    • Willingness to openly share ideas andleverage the expertise of others to generate new ideas
    • Good listener; creative thinker
    • Excellent writing, editing and proofing skills
    • Aptitude to work both independently and collaboratively with different personality types
    • Familiar with digital marketing techniques; social media platforms
    • Intermediate analytical and strategic thinking skills
    • Ability to juggle multiple projects at the same time
    • Time management skills, deadline-oriented
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); knowledge of Salesforce a plus, but not required.
    • Keeps current on latest news and events
    • Interest in finance, investing or financial services a plus, but not required
