As part of the team, the intern will assist in expanding brand awareness, increasing partnerships, acquisition and retention. The intern will learn about Growth & Engagement Medicaid processes, brand strategy, partner development, negotiation, track trends, and member satisfaction.

The Marketing Specialist Intern will be responsible for…

Primary responsibilities include supporting:

• Maintains files and records pertinent to sales leads/prospects.
• Coordinates follow up actions.
• Prepares reports to analyze marketing actions and strategies.
• Performs a variety of administrative functions to support the timely execution of marketing plans.
• Tracks expenditures and budgets. Coordinates mailings. Researches marketing/sales requests.
• Primary duties may also include, but are not limited to: Coordinates volunteer activities by planning, organizing and providing volunteer management for events.
•  Responds to requests for funding.
• Tracks utilization of company contributions.  
• Serves as a representative at company sponsored events.
• Intern responsibilities also include, engage in researching and outreaching disenrolled reasons, assist in the implementation and the development of marketing initiatives, and assist with outreach to members, track membership trends, and administrative duties as needed.

• This internship is from June to August and is 40 hours per week in a hybrid work setting - Atlanta, GA
• Must be enrolled fulltime at an accredited college or university during internship
