The MEDICARE GRIEVANCES & APPEALS INTERN will be responsible for…
Primary responsibilities include:
Develop and/or modify the Grievances & Appeals (G&A) onboarding program to ensure new hires learn the theory of G&A, the overall processes for the department, as well as how to work the case types they will be assigned. This includes:
Creating a training agenda for hires in each area of the department
Creating training materials for each of the departments
Creating quantitative assessments to be delivered periodically throughout the training environment
Determine a learning curve for each department as a new hire transitions from classroom training to working cases
QUALIFICATIONS
Pursuing a degree in Business, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Human Resources Management, or other related degrees
This internship is from June to August and is 40 hours per week/or 20 hours per week depending on school schedule in a virtual setting
Must be enrolled fulltime at an accredited college or university during internship
Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements
