The PROVIDER DATA SOLUTIONS INSIGHTS INTERN will be responsible for supporting the Provider Insights team and the Health Economics team by providing data and information that accurately demonstrate provider performance and provides actionable insights more efficiently, and at a faster time to market, while continuously improving the quality of information with the goal of helping to ensure affordable medical costs for our consumers.

100% REMOTE OPPORTUNITY

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with internal business partners to understand business process.
• Gather information on existing processes.
• Perform analysis on assigned process project.
• Provide documentation to outline the process as a job aid
• Provide documentation to outline the work instructions (if applicable to the process)
• Apply mapping and streamlining techniques to document the workflow
• Participate in implementation plans for new processes
• Provide ad-hoc analysis to our internal customers
• Perform other functions as requested

FUNCTIONS OR EXAMPLES OF PROJECTS FOR THIS ROLE:

• Update team SharePoint for current process flows and metadata
• Create process flow for new capabilities.
• Write simple SQL queries to profile data from the data warehouse or data labs

QUALIFICATIONS

• Pursuing a BS/BA degree in Business, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, or other related degrees
• This internship is from June to August and is 40 hours per week/or 20 hours per week depending on school schedule in a virtual setting
• Must be enrolled fulltime at an accredited college or university during internship
• Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements
